Updated Mask Policy effective Monday, March 7, 2022
In light of recent events, GBA will be updating its mask-use policy effective Monday, March 7th
as follows:
- Masks will be optional once in the dance studios during class
- Masks will continue to be required in all common spaces (changing area, lockers,
vestibule, etc.) - Some students and teachers may choose to continue to wear masks in the dance studios
during class. The use of masks is a deeply personal decision and GBA respects and
supports what is suitable for each individual and family
Dancers who wish to remove their mask once in the dance studios should bring a plastic bag with their name on it to secure their mask. Masks may not be removed and placed in the studio without a plastic bag
We encourage frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
If your dancer is experiencing any signs of illness or allergy, please keep them home. Any
dancer exhibiting signs of illness while at GBA will be required to wear a mask while waiting for
their parent or caretaker to pick them up.
Our community’s safety and well-being remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor
guidance and will adjust our safety protocols if necessary.
We are grateful for your continued support as we shift to these more relaxed protocols and
look forward to seeing some smiling faces in the studio again.
