Dancers competed in Youth American Grand Prix in Boston
The dancers went through rigorous training to compete in this competition.
“We’ve been rehearsing for about 5 months. We did dress rehearsals in the weeks leading up to it,” said Anderson.
“We worked 2 to 3 hours each week. We ran our variations many times,” said Emma Kelly.
And all the hard work paid off. Elisabeth Beyer placed second out of 95 dancers in the Junior Classical division and top 12 in the Junior Contemporary Division.
Both phoebe Anderson and Emma Kelly placed top 24 in the senior classical division.
