Admission and placement in the Greenwich Ballet Academy is by audition only. Auditions are by appointment. New
students must bring a completed Registration Form and audition fee to the audition class. If accepted to the program, new students
must complete the enrollment process by submitting a medical certificate and payment of tuition and all fees prior to the start of
class in order to hold their place. If all class assignments are filled, students will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted
when a place becomes available.

AUDITION
Auditions are conducted by master teachers, school directors
or choreographers to assess the dancer's placement, technique, flexibility, balance and coordination, physical attributes, musicality,
stage presence, and motivation. These talents and attributes are the foundation upon which the ballet education process rests
and from which perfroming excellence is achieved.
PLACEMENT
Following their audition, students are placed in one of the following levels:
- Pre-Academy
Class Level 0
- Lower School with Class Levels 1,2
- Middle School with Class Levels 3,4
- Upper School
- Senior 2 with Class Levels
5,6
- Senior 1 with Class Levels 7,8
PERFORMANCE
Students are trained during class for two or more productions a year. Roles are cast
based on merit, technique, acting ability (when required), stage presence, demonstrated discipline, work ethic, maturity and attendance
at rehearsals and scheduled performances.
